By way of introduction, I am a visiting professor at DeVry University since 2000 where I teach history, ethics, art history, psychology, and sociology. I am also an adjunct at Moraine since 2004 where I teach philosophy, world religions, and western humanities. I have also taught at St. Francis and Purdue North Central.

I have received my bachelors in philosophy from Muskingum College, a masters in history and theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in organizational psychology from McCormick Theological Seminary. In addition, I have done post-graduate studies in medical ethics at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have written a human interest column for over a dozen years for a paper in Dixon, IL. Teaching and writing assignments have permitted me to travel extensively throughout all of Western and parts of Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Indochina, and South Pacific. I have taught a class for St. Francis in Tibet and China. I have recently returned from Greece and Turkey and planning a trip to Russia and Burma.
