First, It Was Trump
Now, It’s Giuliani

Flash! Rudy is in trouble.

The parallels between Trump and Giuliani are striking. However, let’s go back to the time just after 9/11. Rudy loved the accolades related to being “America’s mayor.” According to the then New York Gov. Pataki, Rudy wanted him to cancel the mayoral election in New York after 9/11. Pataki wrote about Rudy’s request in his Beyond the Great Divide. Rudy wanted to remain as New York’s mayor because he loved the attention. Hmmm. That is exactly Trump’s modus operandi. They both need and covet the limelight...all the time.

Jack Smith, Special Counsel for the DOJ and Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney, will soon indict Trump. Essentially, Trump canceled the actual election results and wanted to remain as president since the election was rigged.

As we look back upon Giuliani and Trump’s relationship, they exemplify the old adage that birds of a feather flock together, whether for good or ill.

Flocking together

Flocking together

Trump and Giuliani seem impervious to treating women as equals. Both of them see women as sex objects. Twenty women claim that Trump sexually assaulted them. In addition to Noelle Dunphy, Giuliani has others claiming unwanted sexual encounters like Christianné Allen. In her 69-page lawsuit, Dunphy claims Giuliani drank a lot and had to use Viagra constantly.

The former president and his sidekick also have issues with impulsive behavior and go off when criticized or feel slighted.

This isn’t a stable genius.

I’m not happy....

“I’m not happy....”

Also, Giuliani was selling pardons. In Dunphy’s lawsuit, there is this sentence. “He also asked Ms. Dunphy if she knew anyone needing a pardon, telling her that he was willing pardons for $10 million, which he and President Trump would split.”

Dunphy claims in her lawsuit that sex with Giuliani started soon after her hiring in January 2019, and her salary was off-the-books to avoid anyone finding out about her job. According to the suit, Giuliani “forced Ms. Dunphy to perform oral sex on him” while working for him. After two years of dealing with Giuliani’s “alcohol-drenched rants that included sexist, racist, and antisemitic remarks,” Dunphy was fired in January 2021.

Birds of a feather flock together...on their flights to jail.
