If you are
interested in travel, click on the countries and you will find
human-interest articles about distant lands and thousands of photos.
For example, in 2001, I traveled to the Indian subcontinent
for a month of research in
India, Nepal, and Tibet.
Four years ago, I
went to
Chile, Easter Island, and French
Polynesia for additional research for writing projects.
In 2005, I took a group of students to
China
and Tibet for the University of St. Francis.
I recently
returned from a month of study and travel in
Africa.
In the summer
of 2008, I plan another trip to Greece and Turkey and later on that
year one to Indo-China.
All these
trips will allow me to add to my understanding of these cultures for
both my teaching and writing while gathering photos for my web site. |
