When I Go To Heaven, I’ll Hold My Hand.
Trump does one thing greater than anyone else. He is the incarnation of Narcissus (Νάρκισσος). The early Greeks told the story of a troubled young man. He was the child of Liriope, a nymph, and Cephissus, the god of the river. One would have thought that a pretty boy would have been a tad more self-reflective. However, Narcissus’ character flaw was that of being self-absorbed. So, Nemesis, a Greek goddess, punished Narcissus for the cardinal sin of egotism and hubris. Narcissus admired himself so much that he couldn't stop looking at his reflection in the pool of water. This is Caravaggio’s Italian Renaissance painting of Narcissus.

The Donald’s only revival when it comes to being a narcissist was the first one, Narcissus. And he irritated the Greek goddess Nemesis, who punished him for hubris. If Nemesis is still around, today’s incarnation of Narcissus would drive her into a divine cosmic rage. Here is a minute list of examples of Trump’s self-importance.
