Melania Trump’s Speech To the Nation
Flooding the Zone

Americans have gotten used to speeches to the nation from the White House. Most often, we listen to speech and understand what our presidents have said to America. I think about President Obama's speech to the nation about the killing of Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind 9/11.

In the first 20 seconds, Obama made his point. “Good evening. Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda, and a terrorist who's responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.”

Trump has addressed the nation on a number of occasions. In his sleepy monotone, he does a masterful job lying and pontificating. However, our very stable genius slowly got around to the speech to the nation on April 1, 2026. Aside from it being April Fool’s Day, it was 32 days after the beginning of our war with Iran, called Operation Epic Fury.

In the midst of invading Iran, Trump, caught off guard, was surprised when the Iranians seized the Straits of Hormuz. From way out in right field, America had the opportunity to listen to our First Lady on April 9th.

Without permission and probably without much of a heads-up to Donald, she took center stage. Listen to what her speech writer wrote for her.

Wait. I want to ponder what our First Lady said. “Good afternoon. The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.”

The first thing that came to mind was this photo.

“Good

“Good afternoon. The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today....”

That photo was taken of the two couples in 2000 at Mar-a-Lago. While our First Lady isn’t like her beloved husband, who will meander all over for an hour, she cuts to the chase. That surprised me. I don’t know how often she stays at the White House with her Donald. She seemed more concerned about her son than getting into the fast life in the White House.

Then, our first lady wanted to set the record straight.

I wasn’t sure what our First Lady meant by the term relationship. Then, she goes on about an email from that Maxwell. She wrote to Maxwell, and Maxwell replied, calling her sweet pea.

I happened upon Christina Lorey’s Facebook post.

The First Lady wasn’t finished. She wanted to assure America that she wasn’t one of Epstein’s victims. That is reassuring since she first met Epstein at Mar-a-Lago in February 2000. At that time, she was around 30. The first photo in this article was of the two couples at Mar-a-Lago.

As for the First Lady’s speech to the nation, the first thing that crossed my mind was from Shakespeare's Hamlet. There is more to the story than we are privy to.

However, one redeeming issue related to her address to the nation. It was also about well over a thousand victims. This is the First Lady’s comment.

I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity to testify. I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity to testify under oath in front of Congress with the power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public if she wishes and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the congressional record. Then and only then we will have the truth. Thank you.

I technically understand having the victims testify under oath. However, inviting victimized young girls and teenagers to testify under oath in front of Congress doesn’t need to be a part of the invitation. They endured horrific sexual abuse. If I had been abused sexually, I would be offended by the First Lady’s invitation, but I had to swear to God that I am telling the truth.

I wonder what the First Lady would think if she had to swear to tell the truth before her speech to the nation.
