For someone who creates a litany of names for people he dislikes, one would think the acronym TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) would been ignored or at least taken in stride. Robert Armstrong from the Financial Times created that acronym for Trump due to his statement about “90 trade deals in 90 days.” There have been no trade deals agreed upon, especially those involving China, Canada, and Mexico, which are among the most important trade agreements.
Listen to our macho president regarding the TACO term.
The acronym TACO rattled our president. Mr. Trump’s on-again, off-again tariffs, and still not one country has signed a trade deal with him. Trump responded to the reporter, “I chicken out? I’ve never heard that. Don’t ever say what you said. That’s a nasty question. To me, that’s the nastiest question.” Whether TACO is nasty or not, it hit Trump’s gizzard.
Nevertheless, the term TACO applied to Trump a half-century ago. He attended high school at the New York Military Academy. This photo of Trump, in the center, of this soccer term. He also played football and baseball.

Trump managed to get four deferments from the Selective Service. When he turned 18, he registered with the Selective Service. His first deferment was due to his attendance at college in 1964. The following year, he received his second deferment. In 1967, he got another deferment. His fourth student deferment was in early 1968, which was reclassified as 1-A, which meant that he could be drafted. His final deferment was due to bone spurs in both heels. Trump was a jock in sports, but he had two bone spurs.
Trump went to Dr. Braunstein, who had an office on the first floor of the Edgerton Apartments in Jamaica, Queens. During that time period, Trump’s father owned and rented space to the housing tenants and Dr. Braunstein in the Edgerton Apartments.

This is Dr. Braunstein’s office.
Trump didn’t want to be drafted during the Vietnam War. Therefore, Braunstein, Trump’s podiatrist, wrote to Selective Service stating that he had bone spurs. Our TACO president played sports in high school and continued to for his entire adult life. Nonetheless, he suffered from bone spurs just during the Vietnam War. He has never mentioned bone spurs while golfing.
Additionally, Trump has made numerous disparaging comments about the US military. In 2018, Trump was planning to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, located near Paris. However, he claimed that his helicopter couldn’t fly due to the rain, and his Secret Service agents refused to drive him there; neither of these claims was true.
When Trump was discussing going to the cemetery, four sources said that Trump asked, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In another discussion, he referred to the 1,800 marines who died at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.
Trump didn’t like John McCain, who, during the Vietnam War, was a Navy pilot. When bombing Hanoi, a North Vietnamese surface-to-air missile (SAM) struck his plane. McCain ejected from his jet and landed in Truc Bach Lake, which was in the center of Hanoi.

McCain was beaten and bayoneted by the locals who pulled him out of the lake. He was taken to the Hoa Lò prison in central Hanoi, which other American pows called the Hanoi Hilton. He remained in prison for 5 ½ years. This is Trump commenting on McCain being a loser.
You decide whether our TACO president is a brave American hero or whether McCain is. Which of the two was a chicken?
