Revisited
I wonder who the person at Mar-a-Lago that tucks Trump in and reads him his bedtime stories before he dozes off. Since Trump is a wealthy real estate mogul, he has state-of-the-art technology, which allows him to watch Loony Tunes on a 98-inch TV before his reader arrives. One of Trump’s favorite cartoons is Batman’s Outfit.
That is the backstory. Last week, before Congress adjourned for the holidays, Elon Musk posted on X that the House shouldn’t pass an extension of the debt ceiling. Musk posted at 4:15 am, “This bill should not pass.” Musk saw no reason for a continuing resolution. He didn’t deem it necessary to keep the federal employees paid until after the inauguration.
In the next few hours, Musk was clearly in a manic state, posting around 100 times to X. Closing the government was not a big deal from Musk’s mindset, even though it meant federal employees wouldn’t get paid until Trump was sworn in. Musk added, referring to the bill keeping the government open, asking, “Ever seen a bigger piece of pork?”
Finally, Musk threatened any member of Congress who wasn’t in lockstep with him. “Any member of the House or Senate who votes for this outrageous spending bill deserves to be voted out in two years!”
Sen. Bernie Sanders observed, “Democrats and Republicans spent months negotiating a bipartisan agreement to fund our government. The richest man on Earth, President Elon Musk, doesn’t like it.”
Why the former, soon-to-be President took so long to respond to Musk\'s tsunami of postings is beyond me. Essentially, Musk forced Trump to say something. It wasn’t until the evening before Trump finally posted an agreement with Musk.
That is true; Musk wasn’t born in America. He was born in Pretoria, South Africa. However, President Musk will merely annex South Africa after Trump adds Canada and Greenland as the 51st and 52nd States, making South Africa the 53rd State.
Trump has a monumental inferiority complex. He has been outclassed by someone richer and smarter than he is. Talk about Trump being humiliated.
Then there is Musk, wanting to colonize Mars. This is a poster of Musk on Mars. He will make Mars the 54th State.
As Musk ponders colonizing Mars, he realizes it would take six months to reach the Red Planet. Musk decided to give former President Trump the job to colonize Mars.
