The Many Faces of Trump
A Felon and Friend of Two Other Felons

In a previous essay, I mused over our TACO president. He took a knee before Putin, or as Trump says, “my friend, Vladimir.” This article deals with another face of Trump, that of being a convicted felon. Trump rants at the top of all presidents in America. He is the only convicted felon.

President Tricky Dick could have been charged with four criminal counts related to Watergate. Fearing impeachment, Nixon resigned the presidency 51 years ago this month. Ford had been Nixon’s Vice President and became president. Within a few weeks, Ford pardoned Nixon.

Trump, our Felon President, could have faced more felonies had he not appointed three justices of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court effectively granted him a pardon for any federal offenses during his presidency. However, Trump’s felony charges were at the state level, which a president can’t pardon.

Enter Trump, Melania, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell. They were a happy foursome years ago.

As the saying goes, “Birds of a feather, flock together.”

Trump stated in an interview with The New York Magazine in 2002, “I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Trump’s falling out wasn’t due to Epstein and Maxwell’s felony convictions related to sexual trafficking of minors. Trump was upset with Epstein attempting to purchase an oceanfront estate in Palm Beach called Maison de l'Amitie.

After all is said and done, why won’t Trump release the Epstein files?
